AKapella visits the Girls of Jeremiah Foundation

AKapella visited the Jeremiah Foundation, a shelter for young girls who have been abused.

During the first visit, the girls expressed their love for music and dance. The girls formed a small circle and started to sing and dance with the AKapella volunteers. The girls and the AKapella volunteers bonded during this visit, both sharing their love for music and the arts.

AKapella decided to implement a music program to help enrich the lives of the girls in the Jeremiah Foundation. Once a week, an AKapella volunteer gives the voice lessons. This regular encounter has boosted the girls’ self-esteem and made them more confident, as the girls discover their talents and realize that they are still capable of making friends with people outside their shelter.
